Business Leaders Retreat

Connect, reflect & refresh

6 October – 9 October, Barcelona, Spain

As we live in turbulent and uncertain times, it becomes more and more important to listen to God and to do what is right and just. So often questions remain unanswered. We lack the time to dig deep into them because of the relentless pace of life and the highly competitive world we live in. This retreat will help you to understand God’s voice for your personal life and business.

Our aim is to provide the space and the environment to listen to God, our hearts and to our soul’s yearnings, to be re-equipped and envisioned for all we believe we are called to be. During this retreat we will have time for worship, joy and laughter, teaching, reflection, meeting each other, relaxation, silence, visiting The Sagrada Familia, to enjoy the mountains of Barcelona and the typical Spanish hospitality and food.

What will be your takeaway?
Through stimulating conversations, inspiring and challenging talks, personal reflection, and prayer you should be able to discover and understand God’s voice for your life and/or work. It will help you to find direction and make your plans for the coming year. It will be a refreshing experience to get recharged and refocussed on that what matters in life.

PS: Bring your life partner with you and have a common experience and encounter with our God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit.

Listen, Act, Stand, the essence of Christian leadership.

Are you ready to be in business together with God?

What am I doing in life and business, so speaking to me will be a reasonable thing for God to do? Am I in business together with Him? Or am I in business just for myself, trying to “use a little God” to advance my projects?

In an open and save atmosphere we will reflect on these questions, through stimulating conversations, inspiring and challenging talks, and personal reflection.

This retreat is a time for meeting God and friends to get answers, but also a time to get refreshed, reenergized, and repurposed to become more fully the person God designed you to be.

The theme ‘Listen, Act, Stand’ is derived from the classic book by the Chinese Bible teacher Watchman Nee. The title is “Sit, Walk, Stand”.

  • Sit is about listening to God and understanding our position in Christ, the spiritual blessings, and our identity.
  • Walk is about acting. How do we practise that what we have heard and are called to do? How do we live and do business, as entrepreneurs and business leaders?
  • Stand is about our attitude towards the enemy. What is the spiritual reality beyond our temptations, challenges, and opportunities, and how to cope with them?
